By now you should know that I do like trying out different micellar waters as it's my favourite way to remove to makeup, I hate makeup wipes as they pull at my skin. I find micellar waters quick and effective, so here I am today giving you another micellar water review.
If you never had guessed by the title then the micellar water i'm reviewing is the Botanics Hydration Burst 3 in 1 micellar water.
What does it say about it:
- Feels as gentle as water
- Easily dissolves makeup and impurities
- Leaves skin feeling soft, smooth and comforted
- No rinsing required
- Active plant exact, clay sage which is rich in flavonoids that are known to hydrate and soothe the skin.
Packaging and Price:
Just like Botanics other micellar water (review here) it comes in a clear plastic bottle, white lid but this time blue writing. It costs £4.99 for 250ml but there is always usually an offer on botanic products.
Who is it suitable for:
It says it is suitable for dehydrated and sensitive skin but personally I think this is okay for everyone.
How to use it:
I use this as my first cleanse to remove my makeup, I apply a bit to a cotton pad and sweep over my face and I repeat until all of my makeup is removed. Another way I use this is in the morning if i've worn a stubborn mascara and it didn't come off the night before and has transferred underneath my eyes then I use this before washing my face.
Ingredients:
[Aqua (Water), Butylene glycol, Glycerin, Polyglyceryl-4 caprate, Phenoxyethanol, Hibiscus sabdariffa flower extract, Sodium benzoate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric acid, Sodium citrate, Ascorbyl glucoside, Benzoic acid, Dehydroacetic acid, Ethylhexylglycerin]
My overall opinion:
Overall I have nothing negative to say about this micellar water it does the job and it is very soothing on the skin. It removes makeup like a dream, and doesn't dry out the skin. Overall a very good micellar water and will be repurchasing again.
Thank you for reading
