So I planned to start 'My Top 5....' series last year but just didn't have enough to talk about but finally one of my lists are complete and as the title suggests it's my highlighters. Let's begin:
My first top highlighter was one of the first highlighters I ever bought and i'm still in love to this day and it is.....
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne pop
Yes you all remember this one it's an oldie but a goodie. I get more wear out of this now in the summer when i'm super bronzed or going on a night out and basically want a POP (full review here)
Moving onto my next discovery this one was a hard one to pick from but when I do reach for it, there's just something about it that is just wow.
It Cosmetics Highlighter in the Shade Live
Now i'm not sure if they sell this product on it's own or if it's just in the palette but it's from the Your Most Beautiful You face disc which I would highly recommend, just unfortunately my bronzer smashed but I still love the highlighter, very natural but just beautiful. (Full Review here)
Moving swiftly we have one that I was a super excited to purchase and it is....
Jouer Powder Highlighter in the shade Citrine
So I purchased this last September and omg have I used this loads, it's more of my winter highlighter, it does look similar to the It cosmetics one but this one is more yellow gold whereas It cosmetics is pale. One thing I do say with this highlighter is that it has to be worn with a full face of makeup to look to be used whereas It cosmetics can be no makeup, makeup look. (full review here)
Moving into recent territory we have....
Laura Gellar Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in the shade Gilded Honey
So I was so unsure whether or not to purchase, whether it would be me, I was given an Debenhams voucher and thought why not, it's not actually my money (that was the way I was thinking). I am so surprised I love this especially for summer with beautiful bronze skin looks amazing but also on nights out when you want to glow. (full review here)
Now I would hold my hands up and say I am not a cream highlighter kinda girl but this blew me away....
Glossier Haloscope in the shade Quartz
This is just a beautiful dewy but inner glow kinda product, very much getting the wear out of it in the summer, not sure how it will play in winter as I like more powder products then but for now this is amazing, highly recommend. (full review here)
Now I do quickly just want to mention, Colourpop lunch money...kinda difficult to work with but when done right...gorgeous but also Charlotte Tilbury highlighter from filmstar bronze and glow.
Have you got any highlighters you would recommend?
Thank you for reading!
Love
Hannah
